how can massage therapy help me?

many of my clients come to me because they’ve struggled to find bodyworkers who understand their experiences - folks with unique nervous systems, sensory needs, or bodies that haven’t always felt safe in medical or wellness spaces.

integrative massage therapy can help by offering consistent, gentle support for a range of conditions, including:

  • top surgery recovery and other gender-affirming procedures

  • ehlers-danlos syndrome (EDS) and hypermobility

  • chronic pain from tension patterns or repetitive use

  • anxiety, depression, and burnout

  • trauma recovery and nervous system regulation

  • migraines and tension headaches

  • autism, ADHD, and sensory sensitivity

  • injury or post-surgical healing

bodywork can be a meaningful tool for reducing pain, increasing relaxation, improving mobility, and helping you reconnect to your body in a way that feels safe and supportive.

what to expect from a massage session

whether you book a mobile massage in bucks county, montgomery county, or philadelphia, or visit me at my doylestown massage office, your session will be customized based on what your body needs that day.

i bring everything we'll need for your session - table, linens, oil, music - for in-home sessions. my office is a private, cozy, low-stimulation space where we can focus fully on your care. you can read more about how mobile sessions work here.

i draw from techniques like:

  • swedish massage

  • myofascial release

  • thai yoga massage

  • deep tissue techniques

  • scar tissue mobilization

  • range-of-motion work

every session starts with a conversation about your goals, health history, comfort needs, and preferences. some folks love talking during sessions, some go completely inward - either is welcome.

my background & experience

i’m jude (they/them), a licensed massage therapist who specializes in providing trauma-informed care to the queer and neurodivergent community.

i’m queer and neurodivergent myself, so i know firsthand how hard it can be to find care that feels affirming, non-pathologizing, and safe to receive.

i’ve worked with clients recovering from top surgery, living with chronic illness, navigating autistic shutdowns or sensory overload, and healing from complex trauma.

i believe that massage should be collaborative, because you’re the expert on your body, and i’m here to support you in whatever ways feel right for you.

frequently asked questions

do you work with trans, queer, and nonbinary clients?

yes! bodycraft was founded specifically to serve queer, trans, and gender-diverse people. all bodies are welcome here, and i’ll always check in about what kind of touch feels safe and supportive for you.

what if i have sensory needs or feel anxious about massage?

you're not alone. i work with many neurodivergent folks and can adjust lighting, pressure, sound, scent, and even the format of the session. nothing is too “weird” to talk about - tell me what makes you feel comfortable, and we’ll build from there.

do you do deep tissue massage?

yes, when it is requested and helpful. i use a blend of gentle and specific techniques, never forcing or “digging in.” deep work doesn’t have to hurt to be effective, and i encourage my clients to keep open communication with me during their session to let me know if anything needs adjusting.

what if i’m recovering from surgery or managing a chronic condition?

great, i work with many clients dealing with the same things. i’ve worked with clients recovering from top surgery, spinal fusions, orthopedic procedures, and more. i can work with and around scars, drains, swelling, and mobility restrictions.

do you offer packages or discounts?

yes! i offer multi-session packages, referral discounts, a discount for leaving a review, and i have sliding scale appointments available for bipoc/disabled/low income folks. if cost is a barrier, let’s talk. i believe in making bodywork accessible for all who need it.
